Cyber Monday has historically been a great time to shop for tech and hardware, and this year is no exception. We're seeing tons of great deals on gaming gear, including solid-state drives (SSDs) that can be used to expand your PS5's storage capacity. One of the best Cyber Monday PS5 SSD deals you can grab right now is $100 off the WD Black SN850X with 1TB of storage. For more limited-time discounts, check out our Cyber Monday deals hub.

Currently down to $80, this deal is only $20 more than the previous all-time low we've seen for the SN850X. With game files seemingly getting larger and larger, the 1TB of storage can make a big difference, more than doubling the console's 825GB of built-in storage.

WD BLACK SN850X 1TB SSD with Heatsink $94.99 $179.99 Save 47%

Compared to the original, the SN850X offers marked improvements to read and write speeds—up to 7,300MB/s and 6,300MB/s, respectively. This PS5-ready model includes a low-profile heatsink. This is an excellent deal for a super fast SSD that doubles the PS5's built-in storage.

The WD Black SN850X is a powerful SSD capable of speeds exceeding those required for PS5 games and comes with a heatsink — which Sony recommends for your PS5. Not that it's only good for consoles — it's also a great gaming PC SSD with support for NVMe/PCIe protocol.

This deal isn't the lowest price we've ever seen for this drive; it was only about $60 during Prime Day earlier this year. However, Cyber Monday is the final major deal event of the year, meaning it's unlikely the SN850X will drop any lower after this deal. If you're shopping for extra PS5 storage, we recommend picking up this deal while it's still kicking.

Western Digital (WD) has been making trustworthy data storage devices for decades, making it one of the best brands in the business. Compared to other brands, WD may seem a bit pricey, but you can rest easy knowing you're getting a premium device that's worth the money.
